Arizona Sonoran (ASCU.V) has released assay results from three holes it completed on the Parks/Salyer prospect, located just 2 kilometers southwest of the main Cactus zone. The holes are part of the 32,000 meter infill drill program and should be very helpful to further increase the confidence level in the inferred resource.

All three infill holes encountered high-grade copper. Hole ECP-098 encountered just under 218 meters of 1.01% total copper (with 0.90%  soluble copper) and traces of molybdenum. Holes ECP-097 and 099 were also excellent with respectively 227 meters and 168 meters of continuous mineralization. These drill results further underpin the recent resource calculation at P/S which confirmed the greater Cactus region with approximately 6.5 billion pounds of copper across all resource categories as one of the largest undeveloped copper assets in the United States.

Given the size and scope of both projects, Arizona Sonoran Copper will move both projects forward in order to complete a combined pre-feasibility study which will likely unlock additional economies of scale as the new resource at P/S will allow Arizona to add a lot of pounds to the mine plan. While the drill program is ongoing, ASCU is also completing additional metallurgical test work at both P/S as well as the main Cactus zone to ensure the quality of the pre-feasibility study.
