Crushers are usually found on mine sites, not set up in a workshop just 11km from Perth. However, Minprovise is changing things up.

Minprovise International is situated in Welshpool, an inner south-eastern suburb of Perth that is predominantly industrial.

The company is a total solutions provider offering specialist maintenance and shutdown, engineering, fabrication and project services, with a full suite of complimentary equipment and products. Its main business is within the mining sector.

The company is positioned as forward thinking partners and it’s on this foundation that it has imported brand new ZI Cone crushers from Earthtechnica, a subsidiary of Kawasaki in Japan.

Procuring a crusher for a mine site circuit usually takes 18 – 24 months from order to delivery. Buying a crusher is a complex process of feasibility studies, product analysis, engineering and design to get the specs right for the proposed crushing circuit before the order is even placed. This can take months and sometimes years.

But there’s an opportunity to shorten this lengthy process substantially if a crusher is on the shelf to purchase. As a forward-thinking partner with its clients, having a highly reputable crusher like the Kawasaki ZI Cone crusher 2100 and 1800 versions available on Australian soil can shave over a year off the lead time and get the new crushing circuits operational sooner rather than later.

Over the next decade, Australian iron ore production is expected to increase as the iron ore majors in Western Australia grow to meet their long-term production and market share targets.

Recently, the Federal Government announced a $565 million investment into expanding the port in Port Hedland, the world’s largest bulk export port to meet future demands. Not only are the big mining magnates set to increase production, but so are smaller start-up to medium sized operations.

It’s unprecedented to be able to visit a showroom, or the workshop of Minprovise, and see the ZI 2100 Cone crusher fully assembled and functional while in consultation with subject matter experts, but this is where forward thinking takes you.

Minprovise have been EarthTechnica’s exclusive agent for the sale of Kobe and Kawasaki branded crushers in Australia since 2011 and have a number of Kobe gyratory crushers on various sites throughout WA.

The Kawasaki/Earthtechnica ZI Cone crusher series is the technologically improved and upgraded iteration of the market leading and globally successful Z Cybas series. The iron ore sector in Australia is primed to be the next success story for this new generation of crushers as it plans to meet production targets and material quality standards.

It’s understandable that Minprovise has speculated on this predicted growth of Australian mining by obtaining two Kawasaki ZI-1800 and two ZI-2100 cone crushers to have in stock, with an actual demonstration possible from the comfort and convenience of the city.
