Nevada Sunrise (TSXV: NEV) has confirmed further lithium mineralization at its Gemini Lithium project in Esmeralda County, Nevada. The latest assays indicate that the battery metal has been collected in both sediment and groundwater samples from recent drilling.
The latest results come from hole GEM23-04, which is the deepest drill hole to date conducted at the project. Highlights from the results include:
- GEM23-04: 1,412 ppm lithium in sediments over 439.02 metres from a depth of 155.49 metres
- Including 3,556 ppm lithium over 33.54 metres
- Including 4,329 ppm lithium over 9.15 metres
- GEM23-04: 116.43 mg/L lithium over 42.68 metres from 365.85 metres
- GEM23-04: 199.64 mg/L over 30.49 metres from 542.68 metres
Drill hole GEM23-04 is said to have been drilled to a depth of 594.51 metres, with the drill hole terminating in lithium mineralization. The hole was drilled 1.17 kilometres to the southwest of GEM22-01, and 1.04 kilometres northwest of GEM22-02.

To date, lithium is said to have been encountered in each drillhole conducted under the current program, with drilling presently ongoing as the firm works to collect the data required to establish a lithium resource. The current goal of the program is to intersect wide intervals of lithium bearing sediment, and locate high concentrations of lithium-in-water that is coincident with significant groundwater flow rates.
Nevada Sunrise last traded at $0.18 on the TSX Venture.
