Metals Creek Resources Corp. (TSXV: MEK), is a junior exploration company that has recently made headlines with the discovery of high-grade gold mineralization at its Shabaqua Corners Gold Property, located near Thunder Bay, Ontario.

The Shebandowan Greenstone Belt, where the Shabaqua Corners Gold Property is located, has a rich history and promising future. This overlooked region of northwestern Ontario is now believed to hold the potential for super-sized prospects. The area, known for its nickel, copper, and platinum group metal deposits, has been underexplored compared to other regions in Northern Ontario such as the Red Lake Gold district. However, recent consolidation of properties into large-scale land packages has set the stage for more comprehensive exploration efforts.

The Shabaqua Corners Gold Property, approximately 54 km west of Thunder Bay, is on the same trend as Delta Resources‘ Delta 1 project. Despite its promising location, the property has seen limited exploration work until recently. The unveiling of additional high-grade gold mineralization on the eastern portion of the property marks the second significant gold discovery in a matter of weeks.

Delta Resources (TSXV: DLTA) has recently reported improved results from its Delta-1 Gold project. The latest analyses of the mineralized zone, has increased the gold intercept to 6.49 g/t gold over 10 metres, with an additional one metre sample returning 22.22 g/t gold. These nearology of recent exploration results from Delta Resources further highlight the potential of the Shebandowan Greenstone Belt and its capacity to host significant gold deposits.

The newly found area with gold, the East Zone, is located 397m to the east of the Main Zone. Tests from this area have shown gold amounts ranging from 16 ppb to 4116 ppb (4.16 gpt). This gold is found within layers of sediment that have been changed by carbonate, including clumps of rock with quartz-carbonate veins and local networks of thin veins.

Metals Creek team is highly encouraged with the recent success in discovering two new gold systems ( Echo Zone and East Zone) outside of the main zone mineralization over a short period of time. It demonstrates the strong exploration potential for additional discoveries.

While the Company is eagerly awaiting results from additional samples currently under lab analysis, Metals Creek Resources is focused on planning for future exploration to unearth new prospects and expand the definition of its gold deposits.

The future of the Shebandowan area is promising as noted by recent discoveries and ongoing exploration efforts. It is believed that this region could host significant gold deposits based upon recent exploration results by companies like Metals Creek Resources and Delta Resources that are making significant strides in their drilling campaigns, uncovering high-grade gold mineralization and demonstrating the untapped potential of their properties.

Recent successes of mining companies, particularly in the gold sector, are shining examples of this. Companies like Metals Creek Resources and Delta Resources are making significant strides in their exploration efforts, uncovering high-grade gold mineralization and demonstrating the untapped potential of their properties.
